Home School Friday- Tear, Paste, and Paint

1:00 – 2:30 PM

Draw inspiration from Carrie Penley’s work entitled Return to the Wild to create a unique mixed media artwork. Participants will tear and arrange papers to build a collage, then paint an image on top. The layered collage surface creates a unique effect with the paint resulting in a fun mixed media work featuring a western animal.

Pick-up/ Drop-off: Borderlands Classroom

Cost $10 for Museum Members / $12 for Not-yet-members
Min. 10 students/ Max. 25
Ages 7-12

All classes are from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm and include a tour of related artwork.
